Below are some of the synthesizers that I use in my audio-video projects. These are Amazon Affiliate links that will take you directly to the product. (I earn a small commission on every sale of an item listed but the price stays the same.)
Moog Mother-32 https://amzn.to/42EGWgJ The Mother-32 was my first synthesizer and I still use it all of the time in my ever-growing setup. It’s got all the basics of subtractive synthesis, a robust sequencer, and a great patch bay for experimenting with modulation and sound.
Moog DFAM https://amzn.to/48HMFps The Moog Drummer From Another Mother or “DFAM” is a unique analogue synthesizer that focuses on percussive sounds. It has an eight step sequencer with controls for pitch and velocity per-step. The patch bay allows for interesting things like patching velocity to tempo, so each step can have different timing. It’s a great complement to the Mother-32 and Subharmonicon synthesizers.
MOOG DFAM Semi-Modular Analog Percussion Synthesizer with 8 Step Sequencer, 24-Point Patch Bay
Moog Subharmonicon https://amzn.to/4exM2Cy Subharmonicon is my favorite synthesizer. It has great oscillators and a very interesting sequencer section. It can be played via MIDI and it has a great patch bay for experimentation.
Moog Mavis https://amzn.to/4toX6We Mavis is almost like a mini Mother-32 but without the sequencer. It includes a wave folder section, a full ADSR envelope generator (Mother-32 has an ADR envelope generator) and a patch bay aligned to the left to pair nicely with either Mother-32, DFAM, or Subharmonicon when positioned side-by-side.
